New doctor note describes Trump’s health as ‘excellent’
Donald Trump’s campaign has released a letter from his doctor outlining the results from his latest physical. It was the second Bronstein wrote addressing Trump’s health. NPR’s Richard Harris has the details. There’s also no way of knowing that the candidates told us everything pertinent about their health and, frankly, that’s none of anyone’s business. This year – no surprise – the matter has become nasty.

The letter follows his Hillary Clinton’s release of more medical details on Wednesday.
Despite being under considerable heat from her recent health issues, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton also released her medical information hours after Trump did.
Presented with the source of her father’s quote – an NBC interview in 2004 – Trump shot back that “there’s plenty of time for you to editorialize around this”, and again pitched the campaign’s new childcare policy. Bornstein last month confessed he had written his assessment in five minutes while waiting for a limo outside his office.
The appearance on The Dr. Oz Show was taped on Wednesday and aired Thursday. Mehmet Oz that he would like to “lose a little weight”.
“They certainly have ignited people and you see that. It’s insane”, 70-year-old Trump said of 39-year-old Brady. “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure”.
Trump says he detests working out, and the data shows that a majority of American men in his age bracket share his affinity for inactivity. “You know, when I’m speaking in front of 15, 20,000 people and I’m up there using a lot of motion, I guess in its own way it’s a pretty healthy act”.
HARRIS: That is not a realistic way to keep physically fit.
Trump, who is 6 foot 3 inches tall, weighs 107 kilograms, and his liver and thyroid functions are “all within the normal range”, the report said.
Those are the highlights of Donald Trump’s medical condition chronicled in a summary released by the campaign Thursday, information that stopped well short of a comprehensive review of the candidate’s medical history.
Trump underwent a physical examination performed by his longtime personal physician Dr. Harold Bornstein, M.D. of Lenox Hill Hospital. Ever since Trump was asked to release his returns at the first Republican primary debate more than a year ago, he and his campaign have cited an ongoing audit from the Internal Revenue Service as a reason to withhold the paperwork.
“Regardless of who you support, policies benefiting women and families are becoming topics of mainstream conversation and that’s a good thing”, she added. The Columbia University cardiovascular surgeon went through a list of medical questions with his guest, as he might while getting a patient’s medical and family history in an exam room.

HARRIS: Many of the tests, including a testosterone reading, are unnecessary and not recommended because they can lead to overtreatment.
