Many believed that the cast list for the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe installment had already been released in its entirety, but Bratt’s involvement, which was revealed when his name was spotted at the bottom of the newest Doctor Strange Comic-Con poster, proves otherwise.

It you have misgivings about the movie, this trailer won’t change that, but at least the film looks uniquely trippy-harkening back to that classic ’60s Marvel weirdness that defined the character’s adventures, but now in a decidedly modern fashion.

Directed by Scott Derickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg and Mads Mikkelsen, Doctor Strange is released in United Kingdom cinemas on October 28, 2016 before opening in U.S. theatres on November 4, 2016.

In addition to Benedict Cumberbatch, the film stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Rachel McAdams, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West. Thus, he must embark on an arduous journey of healing; encountering Tilda Swinton’s Ancient One – essentially normal Tilda Swinton but bald – who introduces odd to the world of mystic arts. “It’s a title, and all the things the Ancient One knows and passes on, anyone can do”, Swinton said.

What makes Doctor Strange different from other Marvel movies is that it doesn’t involve mutant powers or insane inventions, but rather straight up pure magic, something that we kind of got a glimpse at with the Scarlet Witch. Likewise, Marvel Studios could then use a different Daredevil (etc.) in the movies. Also making an appearance, some of the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, among them Kurt Russell who’s revealed as Star Lord’s dad.

It was announced that a new attraction based on Guardians Of The Galaxy will open at Disneyland in California in the summer of 2017.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be released on November 18. Click through and see who nailed the con this year.
