Playing compromised has yielded the worst stats of his career and we’d hate to see his time in Denver end with more of the same unspectacular play we’ve witnessed this season. If the Bronco defense can pick up where Buffalo left off, and the Denver offense can consistently connect similar to the New York Giants, the Broncos may be able to hand New England their first loss. The biggest concern is a sluggish offense that has been decimated by injuries. The total has gone UNDER in eight of the Broncos’ last nine November games as home underdogs. More often than not in the past few weeks, they’ve been settling for field goals instead of touchdowns in the red zone.

Yet, the Broncos probably have not faced an offense like New England’s this year.

In the regular season and postseason combined, Gronkowski is a flawless 5-0 record against the Broncos over his career, recording 428 receiving yards on 34 catches with five touchdowns in those meetings. If Gary Kubiak decides that screen passes and bootlegs from his 6-foot-8 quarterback isn’t the way to beat the Patriots, he could turn the keys over to his duo of running backs in C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman.
