After players made a clean Getaway in Battlefield Hardline this past January, they should now prepare for the ultimate Betrayal to take place in March 2016. Things probably won’t work out as well in some of the other maps, however, as the DLC will also bring two new vehicles. I have no idea how these maps will play out but we do know that the Alcatraz map will center around the cell blocks based on an image they have up on the website. Maybe there’s something more to it but we won’t find out until it releases in March for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC (and presumably the Xbox 360 and PS3, but they don’t make mention of those two systems on the website).

Battlefield Hardline puts players right in the middle of the war on crime in the gritty and glamorous streets of Los Angeles and Miami, allowing gamers to live out their fantasy of being a cop or a criminal. Yeah, we’re not joking – a sword. In multiplayer, fans will feel the thrill of the heist or the satisfaction of the ultimate 6bust with new twists including new modes, weapons, vehicles and gadgets. You can also expect the usual bug fixes and tweaks, which will be announced on the official Battlefield Hardline forum.

The good news is that even if you don’t order this Battlefield Hardline DLC, you will still be getting an update that will add 11 new weapons to the game. There will also be customization for the primary weapon and the uniforms of the players, which can be done using the Gun Bench Super Feature and can be tested at the Gun Range. This will act as a Distinguished class item to let you unlock specific weapons.
