New features are coming to an iPhone near you

What are your thoughts about the iOS 9.3 preview update? Last month, the number was residing at 70 percent so there’s a small increase in the adoption this month. The latest update comes along with new beta operating systems for other Apple systems including the Apple TV, Apple Watch and MacBook and iMacs.

Night Shift will use the iOS device’s clock and geolocation to determine when the sun sets in a user’s location, and will shift the colors in the device’s display, making the screen “warmer” and easier on the eyes at night.

In order to connect and pair many Watches to a single iPhone, you should update the Watch’s software to watchOS 2.2 beta, and your iPhone should run on iOS 9.3 beta. Night Shift works by reducing the amount of blue light used by your iDevice after sunrise, so should make using your iPhone or iPad after sunset a less jarring experience.

Apple’s iOS 9.3 beta includes a feature for Notes that enables a user to lock notes created in the app using a passcode or Touch ID. Apple says the “Night Shift” mode changes the screen from blue light to a warmer setting.

The news app has also now been made more personalised by introducing a “For You” section, which suggests trending topics and Editors’ Picks.

One of Apple’s main priorities at the minute is getting the iPad into more business and public sector environments as it seeks to offset slowing growth in the consumer tablet market.

New education features in iOS 9.3 will let kids who are using iPads at school log into their personal profile from any shared classroom device. Those with an iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will also benefit from boosted 3D Touch functionality, as iOS 9.3 adds pressure-sensitive shortcuts to the App Store, Compass, Health, iTunes Store and Weather.
