This is the first pillar of gameplay that Sony’s series is focusing on.
The video above provides a short look at the exploration aspect. The trailer mentions 18 quintillion planets can be discovered with “limitless variety”. “As the discoverer of flora, fauna, and even planets, you’ll be able to name your discoveries and claim them to be seen by fellow space pioneers”, Sony’s Josh Sepielli adds. It isn’t confirmed, but it sounds like 65daysostatic, the post-rock marvels scoring the game, also lent their distinctive sound to this new trailer.
If No Man’s Sky isn’t enough for you, here’s our list of all the best space games. Future videos in the series, which will be released over the coming weeks, will explore other facets of the game. In fact, Hello Games has also revealed that it has begun work on the first major update for the game.
Are you looking forward to exploring planets or are you waiting on more information for what the game actually is before you decide?
