Publisher Harper Collins is releasing A Game of Thrones: Get into the Books app, available for Apple products, which will allow viewers to read iconic passages from the show – without risking spoilers.

According to HarperCollins, A Game of Thrones: Get into the Books is meant to serve as a “bridge” into Martin’s writing for fans of Game of Thrones who may be intimidated by the dense bestselling novels.

Not to worry, a new app is going to help you sort everything out, without picking up those pesky books. Here’s something that’ll encourage you to read them – an official Game of Thrones App! If they’ve already watched the show, curious fans may still be interested in checking out how an event like the Red Wedding went down in the books.

It’s free to download and Martin and fans of the series have had input into its workings so you can be sure it’s pretty comprehensive. Now with the click of a button they can read the source material, without having to buy a copy.
