New Gear VR redesign doesn’t fix what wasn’t already broken a year ago
First of all, it’s great to see that unlike the Note 5, the Note 7 has come to the United Kingdom and Europe. With the release of the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung’s marketing was saying “no one is going to buy a big phone” followed by “guess who surprised themselves and changed their minds”.

Business Korea noted that the Korean woman said “My boyfriend’s Galaxy Note 7 exploded while charging at night”.
For comparison, repairing the most expensive iPhone screen, the 5.5inch 6S Plus, will set you back $150 from Apple, some £114.
The Galaxy S7 edge recently received a significant price cut, but that doesn’t mean you should discount the Note 7 altogether. Handily, you can now also take down notes on the lock screen.
Samsung began listening to its millions of consumers, and put significant efforts into the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, and then the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and now the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones.
Finally, don’t expect to use the Note 7 with the Gear VR as the new USB Type C connector makes it incompatible with the current model. The phone will be available in store shelves from September 2 for ₹59,990 ($895), or ₹3,000 more than the launch price of the S7 edge. The S-Pen is quite cool for jotting down notes, but is it worth paying so much more for it?
If you’re not looking to pick up the Note 7 for the stylus, the phone has other features to offer.
It sounds like something from the future but sadly using it feels like something from the past with StarTech have limited success especially when wearing glasses. News has been surfacing that the phone will run on an Exynos 8895 processor, and the phone will also be powerful enough to support virtual reality (VR) technology.
Although many people will say the Note 7 is a good upgrade, it’s not the upgrade us diehard fans deserve.
Finally, the device ships with a much-improved version of Android Marshmallow which looks far better than Samsung’s previous efforts at customising Google’s software.

There are also rumors suggesting that the S8 will be ditching the regular flat screen design for a curved screen display. That isn’t the case on the Note 7.
