New Girl-Brooklyn Nine-Nine Crossover Event Set for Fall on Fox
Fox announced on Monday at the Television Critics Association press tour that two of its most critically acclaimed comedies, New Girl and Brooklyn Nine Nine, will be airing a crossover episode this fall. While that’s something fairly common in The CW’s comic book universe and Dick Wolf’s Chicago shows, our next primetime get-together will be of the comedic variety, as the worlds of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine collide into chuckle-dust.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which stars Andy Samberg and New Girl, starring Zooey Deschanel, are set to air their fourth and sixth seasons on September 20, before the October 11 crossover event a few weeks later. “We know we have a big shoes to fill, and we look forward to disappointing everyone”.
Even with all of the interconnected universes in pop culture, it’s still always a pretty big event whenever two TV shows decide to merge for a crossover episode (or episodes). The fund begins with Brooklyn Nine-Nine at 7:00 and concludes with New Girl, starting at 8:30.
And then we have Brooklyn Nine-Nine which is equally amusing and full of quirky characters with a bit of crime thrown in.
Meriwether’s mirthful satire aside, the idea of New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine crossing over is hardly the most absurd notion ever introduced. “Stay tuned for our two casts to do a soulful R&B number on Empire, co-anchor the FOX 10 O’Clock News and connect for a touchdown on FOX NFL Sunday”. He also earnestly expressed excitement about the upcoming interaction with characters from their timeslot neighbor stating, “We’re huge fans of New Girl here at Nine-Nine”. On the CW, shows like Arrow and The Flash will have crossover episodes regularly, but then again these particular shows share the same production studios and Greg Berlanti as either a creator or executive producer.

She quipped, “There’s a 50 percent chance Alf will also be in both episodes. And also to see what their craft services are like, compared to ours”. “But there’s also a 50 percent chance that it is a lie”, referring to the ’80s sitcom character.
