New Hampshire police react to officer shootings in Baton Rouge
It has been an emotionally charged few days across the country because of the protests stemming from the Sterling shooting and the shooting by police of Philando Castile in Minnesota, plus the ambush on Dallas police officers in which a sniper killed five officers.

Ross Mclean, a former Toronto police officer and security expert on the Baton Rouge shooting joins the Oakley show to share his knowledge on the events.
Montrell Jackson was a police veteran of more than 10 years. In addition, a 41-year-old city police officer and a 51-year-old sheriff’s deputy suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while a 41-year-old sheriff’s deputy was still in critical condition following surgery.
When asked about the service records of the shooters during a gaggle with reporters, Cook said, “I’m not sure of the need for us to address” the transition procedures for service members exiting the military.
“If y’all wanna keep protesting, do that, but for the serious ones, the real ones, the alpha ones, we know what it’s going to take”.
Three officers were shot in Baton Rouge, but locals said the gunshots were heard nationwide.
One post on Sunday to a Twitter account linked to Long read: “At what point do you stand up so that your people don’t become the Native Americans…EXTINCT?”. Police said Long was killed at the scene. “But after about the 28th pop, I wanted to check it out”. “My uncle wouldn’t want this”, Carter said.
Edmonson said Long parked at a beauty salon and carried an assault rifle toward a police vehicle parked at a nearby convenience station.
Only a few days after another Baton Rouge shooting that left Alton Sterling dead, Jackson took to Facebook to express his emotions.
Tonja Garafola had driven to meet her husband at the store but instead she was met with a sea of police cars.
“There simply is no place for more violence”, Louisians governor John Bel Edwards said.
He added, “Regardless of race or political party or profession, regardless of what organizations you’re a part of, everyone right now focus on words and actions that can unite this country rather than divide it further”.
“We don’t need inflammatory rhetoric”.
“We know nothing about this man”, Washington said.
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund spokesman Steve Groeninger said this change was alarming.

“These attacks are the work of cowards who speak for no one”. He said that even though he hated seeing the videos of black men getting killed, “if an incident happens, those things get blown up and they’re on for weeks” and they overshadow the good work police do.
