The race to the White House often comes down to a handful of states, such as Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida, that could swing the election.

Clinton has led Trump in nearly every poll out of New Hampshire, and a Republican has not carried the state since George W. Bush won there in 2000.
That’s not as strong a result as Trump has been seeing in some recent polls but it is an improvement over last month.
A new CNN Poll of Polls, including the NBC/WSJ data, finds Clinton’s edge over Trump has inched up by 1 point. FiveThirtyEight’s election forecast Wednesday gave Trump a 60.1 percent chance of winning the state. “The good news for him is the electorate narrowly agrees with him that America has lost ground and wants to see a change in direction”. The Democratic presidential nominee leads her Republican opponent by seven points, 48-41, and by six points when Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are included.
The poll found that 47 percent of likely New Hampshire voters support Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, while 38 percent back her Republican rival Donald Trump.
All this means it’s still really unclear who will be elected president in November.
Meanwhile, Clinton continues to struggle with voters’ negative perception of her.
The Monmouth survey of 400 likely New Hampshire voters was conducted September 17th through 20th and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
Asked in a two-way race between Clinton and Trump, 45 percent favored Clinton, 44 percent Trump.

Trump’s latest foray into the black community not only sought to connect with voters in Cleveland, home to a large community of African-American voters key to Clinton’s prospects in OH, but also with moderate suburban voters, who frequently hear Clinton describe Trump as extreme.
