New IMAX Trailer for The Walk
The planning for the wire walk required a highly organized team. “By the end I was able to, by myself, with the pole balance on the wire”, the actor told reporters at the Summer of Sony event in Cancun, Mexico. I guess we are going to have to see how the movie is received when it premieres in New York later this week.

The Walk arrives Wednesday, September 30 in IMAX and Friday, October 9 in regular theaters.
In a recent interview with the Guardian, Gordon-Levitt compared Petit to notorious NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden: “Both of them are incredibly driven towards something they believe in”. Robert Zemeckis, the director of such marvels as Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Back to the Future, Polar Express and Flight, again uses cutting edge technology in the service of an emotional, character-driven story. The great thing about this trailer is that it exists more to put your stomach in knots than it does reveal the outcome for a big payoff. “But Bob really just warmed my heart in how generous and collaborative a person he was to work with”. The film has Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ben Kingsley, Charlotte Le Bon, James Badge Dale in the pivotal roles, which is directed by Robert Zemeckis.
