New iPhone 6s ads focus on camera, Siri, and Jamie Foxx

The Golden State Warriors guard and reigning league MVP showed up in a new Apple ad posted on Sunday showing off his well known shooting skills while demonstrating the slow motion playback abilities of the iPhone 6S.

Yes, Apple is trying to advertise how you can use Siri on the iPhone 6s completely hands free even when the smartphone isn’t charging.

Add National Basketball Association champion Stephen Curry to the list of celebrities joining the Apple endorsement team. The Camera commercial is the only ad that stars both Mr. Foxx and Mr. Curry. Foxx, unable to make a decision, then uses “Hey Siri” to ask the virtual assistant to flip a coin to help him decide. It’s around a minute long, and goes through a series of new features added to the Camera application: Live Photos, support for 4K video, peek gestures, and more all make appearances in the advertisement. The Camera, The Crush, and The Flip-A-Coin promos are all part of Apple’s promotional campaign to offer the audience a clear insight into Siri and improved camera features of the iPhone 6s.

“Hey Siri, how do I look?” says Jamie Foxx as he ties a tie in the mirror. They allow the audience to understand the complex functionality of Siri. Each ad focuses on features of the iPhone 6s, launched at Apple’s much-hyped September event. Just about a week after rolling out an iPhone ad touting 3D Touch, the company over the weekend launched three brand new iPhone commercials. Flip a Coin: The iPhone 6s is here, and the only thing that’s changed with Siri is everything.

Foxx is holding two movie scripts in his hand, contemplating which one to choose, before ultimately saying “Hey Siri flip a coin”.
