New iPhone 7 sold out before it even hits Apple stores
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are set to launch on September 16th, but Apple has warned customers that there will be limited quantities available at retail locations on Friday. Walk-in customers can not get the jet black iPhone 7 or the iPhone 7 Plus because it sold out during the pre-order process but there is still hope.

Getting rid of the headphone jack actually meant that Apple had more room for other stuff in the chassis. They commented that the additional waterproofing does make some areas slightly tricky but the trade-off is well worth it. Much to their dismay, KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the dual-lens cam will be made available only for the bigger Plus model of the iPhone in 2017.
Around the world, there was appreciation and enthusiasm, but no great frenzy as Apple fans sought out the latest phones. There have been rumors going around that Apple has been holding back some features of the iPhone 7 to prepare for the release of a better iPhone 8 next year.
Now I have no problem waiting for the new iPhone for a few days or a week or however long it takes, what I do have a problem with is O2 thinking that it can just lie to its customers and think that everything will be OK, it wont, they will end up losing customers. Brisk demand left some stores sold out, leaving those who purchased online with the best chance to get their hands on the latest models – and some resorting to extreme measures.
In Hong Kong, some customers were seen near the Apple store in the Causeway Bay shopping district, reselling new phones at a profit. Those in the tiny queue had already booked slots to buy or collect their devices.
Wu Ting, a 28-year-old from Nanjing, was surprised to find herself first in line at a downtown Apple store in Shanghai yesterday.
Once you minus the cost of the handset (£1,179 – £599) you will see that you’re really paying £24.16 a month for your contract.
But without explicitly saying so, Apple this spring started selling a mass market iPhone model.
This seems like an obvious solution as wireless Bluetooth headphones can easily allow you to charge iPhone 7 while using headphones.
Equally unenlightening are mixed messages about early iPhone sales trends from the USA mobile phone carriers.
When it comes to colors, most buyers opted for black (46 percent), followed by jet black (23 percent), rose gold (15 percent), gold (nine percent), and silver (eight percent).
The more complicated manufacturing process for the jet black versions of the iPhone 7 may also have held up supply.
While there was enthusiasm, it wasn’t as heated as at previous Apple product debuts. Orders for the jet-black iPhone on Apple’s website have shipping dates that push into November.
