There’s already been plenty of speculation about the next-gen iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, with rumours suggesting the devices will feature new cameras, processor and a Force Touch display – similar to the Apple Watch.

Apple could update its iPad tablet PC line at the September event with the long rumoured 12.9 to 13 -inch device dubbed the Pro although the supposed launch data remains something of a moving target.

But despite numerous sources claiming the iPad Pro is ready for its public unveiling, BuzzFeed says its arrival on 9 September “seems to be a wildcard, still”. Apple is expected to add the fast A8 processor found in the iPhone 6, along with a new thinner body, a new remote control that supports Siri and increased onboard storage. The timing would align with Apple’s strategies from previous years – including the iPhone 6 last year, which also was announced on that day.

Meanwhile, the company is also expected to debut the long-awaited successor to Apple TV at the upcoming event.

Even though there have been many hints pointing that it will, in fact, be an iPhone 6S, new reports such as this one from The Inquirer point to the release of the iPhone 7.

The Fall 2015 Apple Event is scheduled for the week of September 7th according to John Paczkowski, Managing Editor of Buzzfeed San Francisco.

Aside from the phones and the TVs, Apple will likely spend some time talking about the Apple Watch.

This would mark a departure from recent years, when Apple has shown off its new iPads a month or so after its iPhones.

Apple has not confirmed official details about the launch, but the iPhone 6s is expected to be unveiled at the tech giant’s annual event in San Francisco.
