New Jersey voters say Donald Trump will ‘keep America safe’
Donald Trump is going to hold a rally in New Jersey to help Gov. Chris Christie pay off the debt he incurred running for president.

Meantime, Hillary Clinton had some of her strongest words yet for presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, saying Thursday that he is “not qualified” to be president of the United States. “We are going to make America great again, greater than ever before”. Both Trump and Christie showed up at a National Guard armory where people paid $200 to get in the door and help Christie pay down about $400,000 in campaign obligations.
The New Jersey Alliance for Working Families is using social media to invite supporters to a protest outside the armory at 4 p.m.
Tittel said Christie and Trump are “perfect together, like two peas in a pod”, observing that each offered “political cover” to one another.
WNYC’s Matt Katz says that with about 1,000 people attending the rally, that went a long way toward wiping out Christie’s $250,000 debt.
He also touched on how the next president would pick three or more Supreme Court justices, having this week released a list of names of 11 judges he would consider appointing to the high court.
Yet the protest did not diminish the enthusiasm of supporters, who waited hours for Mr. Trump to arrive for the scheduled 7 p.m. appearance. “No more Oreos. For either of us, Chris”.
‘You get the box. “I’m not going to be responding”, Clinton said.
Christine, 55, elaborated for her daughter: “She’s always saying to me that, “Mom, everybody’s so anxious about women’s rights” – not that we aren’t, because we’re women – “but we won’t have any rights if there’s no country”, because we’re anxious for our safety”.
Trump touted his proposal for a 35 percent tariff on imports into the United States from the American companies that have outsourced to Mexico. “We are viewed as the stupid country”, he said. She also said she appreciates Trump appearing with Christie on Thursday.
“A lot of you don’t know the world of economics”, Trump later said.
“I love the Mexican people”, he said.
On the local level, Hamilton Mayor Kelly Yaede was given the microphone for a few minutes before Christie and Trump took the stage. He said the plane “got blown out of the sky”. Since ending that bid, he has focused on state issues, as well as getting Donald Trump elected.
Christie has now become a key part of Trump’s team, especially with the announcement earlier this month that he would serve as part of his White House transition team should he win the presidency come November.
The 69-year-old real estate tycoon, who is likely to face Democrat Hillary Clinton exuded confidence that it is unlikely to happen as being alleged by his opponents.

“We’re going to win at every single level”, he said.
