Here’s what we know about the 2017 Land Rover Discovery so far.

The reveal will include full details of the new seven seater Disco and the fantastic new technology that comes along with it.
The Land Rover Discovery has been partially revealed ahead of its official debut just before the Paris motor show, at the end of this month.
The Land Rover Discovery (sold as the LR4 in the U.S.) is next in line for a full redesign. “Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV”.
We’ll give you more Discovery leaks as we get them.
Land Rover is remaining tight-lipped about what else we can expect from its new seven-seat four-wheel drive. The current USA -market LR4 is offered only with Jaguar Land Rover’s ubiquitous 3.0-liter supercharged V6, but Land Rover could add other options to the new model. However, design and performance is an important factor in Land Rover’s message by claiming a combination of “desirability” and “unstoppable spirit of adventure”. A smaller capacity, four-cylinder engine could enable Land Rover to lower the Discovery’s starting price, slightly.
Previous reports indicated that the next Discovery will drop the current model’s boxy styling, and the lone teaser image released by Land Rover seems to support that.
Land Rover will start taking orders just after the Discovery’s reveal at the Paris motor show, with the first deliveries slated for Spring 2017.

Land Rover remains tight-lipped on how much the new Discovery will cost, but the new technology that will feature on the auto, as well as Land Rover’s ambition to push the vehicle upmarket, means that a considerable increase over the current car’s £47,495 starting price is inevitable.
