The image reveals that a lot of design inspiration has been taken from Motorola smartphones.
Unless you’ve been dwelling under a rock, you probably already know about the Lenovo and Motorola deal. As a result of this merger, Lenovo expects its Mobile Business Group to “return to profitability” within the next three quarters.
As for the key differences, majority are clearly shown on the front part of the device. “A faster, leaner business model will better leverage Lenovo’s global sales force and accelerate the efficiency actions already underway in its global supply chain”.
No more details about the Lenovo Lemon X are known, but the smartphone is being connected to the alleged Vibe 3X that had leaked out earlier. (The images were circulated by @UpLeaks). Rear panel of the Lemon X gets a metal frame along with antenna bands on the bottom and top bottom edges – something that has been seen before on the Moto X and Motorola Nexus 6. Also, from what appears to be a fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device, and if Lenovo is smart, the device will likely be running Android Marshmallow out of the box.
Also, there’s a trio of capacitive buttons – Home, Back and Multi-tasking – beneath the display, which is something that none of the current Moto phones include. This development could indicate that some of the DROID’s prized features, like its long battery life and unbreakable display, could be rolled into a new line of phones. Well, the company decided they wanted to streamline things awhile back, and the Lenovo Lemon X could be one of the first products made with their new way of thinking. As availability is concerned, analysts expect to see these announced in mid 2016.
