New Mexico State Football Team Bus Burglarized After Loss, Says NMSU AD
New Mexico State personnel were able to file a police report and hopefully everything can be rectified in this situation sooner than later.

That doesn’t seem the case.
New Mexico State lost by 48 points to Florida on Saturday night.
The sore feeling of being completely demolished – even if the demolishing was expected – has to be compounded upon realizing you’re the victim of a crime as well.
Mario Moccia, the director of athletics at New Mexico State, told Las Cruces Sun-News…
According to the Associated Press, Brad Barber of the university police department says the bus, which carried football staff members, was parked outside the stadium in a secure area.
This is the second time in the past year New Mexico State has had one of its teams burglarized.
“We had seven people that couldn’t take their cars home”, he said.
Moccia said the other two buses, one for the offensive players and the other for the defense, were fine.
“My frustrations … are really aimed at the thieves”.
“I was just trying to get the word out and say, ‘Hey everybody, this is what happened, ‘” Moccia said. “But we’ll deal with that down the road”.
“It was either broken into or left unlocked”, he said.
A witness advised police two individuals have been concerned within the theft, Barber stated.
As of Sunday afternoon, police said they had not identified any suspects. “Most of them were inside the stadium, but there were some outside”.
Moccia said he’s not sure if attendees will change their routine at games.

“It isn’t sensible for everyone to lug all their belongings right into a recreation”, Moccia stated.
