New Mid-Size Infiniti SUV Previewed
Other details about the concept are not available at this point, but being a midsize SUV, we assume the QX Sport Inspiration serves as a preview for the next-generation QX70. The concept also features what Infiniti describes as a “floating” A-pillar. Could it be the future QX50 or QX70?

Not only does the photo of the QX Sport Inspiration give little away, nor does Infiniti’s press release.
That would make the new SUV a rival to models like the Lexus RX, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and – in styling and proportions if not in brand cachet – the Porsche Cayenne and Jaguar F-Pace. To spice things up, the company recently introduced the 2017 Infiniti QX70 Limited, which gets a unique front fascia, LED daytime running lights, dark-finish accenting and 21-inch alloy wheels. When you consider that the production Q60 coupe looks nearly identical to its similarly-named concept, could the QX Sport Inspiration follow suit?
In the meantime, we can expect the new Q30, QX30 and Q60 models to arrive down-under by the end of 2016.
