The McClatchy-Marist survey reached 983 registered voters between August 1-3 and was statistically significant within 3.1 percent.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton enjoys an 11-point lead over Republican Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, according to a new Franklin and Marshall College Poll that found a big boost from her party’s convention.

Additionally, Trump started a feud with Khizr Khan, the father of a fallen United States soldier.

The added option of third-party candidates Jill Stein and Gary Johnson had little effect on the head-to-head spreads.

Clinton fired shots at Republican rival Donald Trump for his controversial rhetoric at campaign rallies.

Pennsylvania, a key state in which both Clinton and her running mate Tim Kaine toured after the DNC convention, is also leaning towards the Democrat.

Clinton led Trump by 49 percent to 38 percent among likely voters in the survey, being released Thursday, almost a week after the convention in Philadelphia.

When voters only had the option of Clinton or Trump, 46 percent of those polled said they would vote for or favored voting for Clinton. A month ago, Clinton was leading Trump by six points, 44 percent to 38 percent. Grayson is the closest opponent to Murphy with the other three candidates in low single digits, according to the poll, with 40 percent still undecided.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton visits the Knotty Tie Company on Wednesday in Denver, Colo. Trump has recently feuded with the Muslim family of a slain U.S. soldier and infuriated the Republican establishment by not endorsing House Speaker Paul Ryan. “We need to stand up and say Trump does not represent our country”. But disenchantment with what seemed like an obviously rigged nomination process in Clinton’s favor, he says, is what’s pushing him to the Green Party.

Trump continues to carry a lead with white voters who have a high school degree or less, 53 percent to 31 percent.

Other polls conducted after the DNC convention released this week show Clinton ahead of Trump. Obama prevailed by 1 point, 50 percent to 49 percent.

The Democratic convention last week featured several Republican speakers who pledged their support for Clinton, including Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
