New note from doctor says Trump’s health is excellent
Trump and Hillary Clinton, 68, the Democrat facing him in the November 8 presidential election, have both promised to release more medical information.

A letter released by the Donald Trump campaign Thursday says the 70-year-old Republican nominee weighs 236 pounds, which would make him overweight but not obese. It was dated September 13.
Donald Trump talked about his medical history on “The Dr. Oz Show” and said of campaigning, “In its own way, it’s a pretty healthy act”. “It goes back further in time”, said Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s chief medical correspondent and a practicing neurosurgeon. “This may be it in terms of what we’ll see medically”.
The release comes amid growing attention to the candidates’ health histories and after Clinton was captured on video stumbling. However, all of his test results were within normal range. His blood pressure and cholesterol are within normal levels, as is his testosterone level.
The medications which Trump is listed as taking are a lipid-lowering agent and a low dose of aspirin.
Trump’s medical examination results can be viewed here.
His liver function and thyroid function tests are “all within the normal range”.
The letter notes that his last colonoscopy was in 2013 and was normal, as were an EKG and chest X-ray done in April of this year.
Oz read aloud and interpreted the health statistics, which had also been released by the Trump campaign Thursday. And his prostate-specific antigen level is measured as 0.15.
Trump then pulledout two letters, waiting at the ready in his coat pocket, andhanded them to Oz. “He does not use tobacco products or alcohol”, he adds. “He lived to a very old age, and he was really great right up toward the end”, Donald Trump said of his father.
But when Dr. Oz asked about the health consequences of this anger and hostility, Trump didn’t answer that, talking instead about his poll numbers and whether or not the press matters.
Trump is 70 years old and, if elected, would be the oldest man elected to the office of USA president.

When that letter was released previous year, Gupta found such language to be surprising and “almost comically” lacking objectivity. “His Doctor Oz charade is as completely unserious as his original joke of a letter written in five minutes”, Mook said. “Now, he has ‘Mr”. Overall, he is described as having “excellent physical health”.
