NASA has thanked One Direction for choosing their facility to film the Drag Me Down video.

It seems their fans couldn’t wait to catch a glimpse of the awesome foursome pretending to be astronauts at a Nasa space station.
The video is directed by long-term One Direction collaborators Ben and Gabe Turner from Fulwell 73, who helmed their video for “Steal My Girl“. The single and video are the first ones the band has released withoutZayn Malik.
In the video that dropped early this morning, the British boys descended upon NASA’s Space Center in Houston, Texas.
There’s Liam training inside the global Space Station replica, while Niall gets all the fun in the Patrial Gravity Simulator, Harry mimics Robonaut and Louis hoons around in the Space Exploration Vehicle which could end up on Mars. Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson swapped in their stylish civilian clothes for astronaut gear in the new video. Where Midnight Memories felt like the peak of high-gloss power pop, “Drag Me Down” showcases a return to live instrumentation and big, soaring hooks.
Fans have noticed, however, in a few parts of the video, there appears to be an unnatural space between the boys, as if they have subtly left room for their departed colleague. Reports say that “Don’t Drag Me Down” released August 20 now holds the Spotify record for most first-day streams globally.

We won’t “Drag You Down” but we sure hope that you are coming back guys! This will be their first album without Zayn Malik.
