“If it gets my husband back, if it gets him free, this is something that I would give in a heartbeat.’ It’s an interesting thing, but it goes to the depths of her love for Jamie, and what people will do for love and what people will do to survive and to save the ones that they love”.

According to the report from Scotland Now, the time traveller will be brought to L’Hopital Des Anges where the doctors will try to save her life as well as that of her unborn child in the episode titled “Faith”. In the storyline, she named the baby Faith which is also the title of episode 7.

Spoiler alert for those who missed “The Best Laid Schemes”, Claire and Jamie agreed on the term to let their enemy Black Jack Randall to live for another year so that he could marry Mary Hawkins.

Jamie injuring Black Jack Randall has also possibly impacted Frank Randall’s future.

Outlander season 2 episode 7 takes off from where the previous installment left: our worry over Claire Fraser’s health continues. In the promo, Claire is seen conversing with Mother Hildegarde.

Claire is understandably furious with Jamie for betraying her trust, but she has a slight change of heart when she discovers what prompted his duel.

Likewise, if the series sticks to the second book of its inspiration, Dragonfly in Amber, then Claire and Jamie lose their unborn child. Balfe said, “Claire feels she’s equal to anyone”. In fact, Balfe explained that her scene with King Louis is important to her character because it displays the extent of her bravery. She doesn’t accept the fact that there is hierarchy. Before she even gets there though, she has her pregnancy troubles to deal with since she had blood running down her legs at the end of episode 6 after learning about the duel.

Caitriona told Vulture of her character, “She realizes there’s a price to pay”.

There is still six more episodes still to come this season, and there is time for healing in there. King Louis will ask her to judge two men who have been accused of practicing the dark arts.

Turns out the King wants Claire’s help deciding which of these unlucky gents is a sorcerer, and Claire wastes no time accusing the Comte of being evil (plus he admits to poisoning her – we knew it!).
