The state Democratic Party commissioned two polls in August – one from Public Policy Polling showing Trump ahead of Clinton by two points in SC, the other from the Feldman Group showing the two candidates tied at 39 percent.

Clinton also brushed off polls that show the race tightening between her and Trump.
Hillary Clinton palled around with reporters aboard her campaign’s new “Stronger Together” plane this weekend, before eventually taking some questions from the traveling press corps.
“These issues will be decided after the election”.
College graduates largely back Ms Clinton, while those without degrees favour Mr Trump.
Protesting the decision by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department against prosecuting Clinton over the use of a private email system while at the State Department, Trump said that “we’re like a third-world country ” and Clinton “is a disaster in so many different ways”.
Regardless of whom they supported, however, almost six in 10 – 59 per cent – said they believed Mrs Clinton would win the election, while 34 per cent said Mr Trump would, reported the Politico website. “He got into a twitter war with the President of Mexico”.
But Trump, who has been moderating his positions recently, has also gained an advantage over Clinton when it comes to appealing to independent voters. “It’s good psychology”, the Republican presidential nominee said at a town hall in Virginia Beach on Tuesday.
Among those likely to vote on Nov 8, Mr Trump had 45 per cent support to Mrs Clinton’s 43 per cent, according to the CNN/ORC survey. That sample has a margin of error of plus or mins 3.5 points.
After hinting last month that he might not participate in all of them, Trump told reporters he was on board.
In the process, she made sure to call out her republican opponent Donald Trump.
She previously coughed excessively during a February 17 speech about race, in Harlem, New York, and in an earlier Iowa address, on January 25, at the Jewish Federation of Greater Des Moines. Trump, in his interview with ABC News’ David Muir, reiterated that it’s Mexico that will be paying. “I don’t know when that’s gonna be, it could be soon, it could be not”.
“I am a very patient person, I don’t quit, I don’t give up, I don’t blink”, she added.

Hillary Clinton’s running mate framed Trump an “untested candidate”, calling him “emotionally volatile, fact-challenged, self-obsessed and inexperienced”.
