New questions in Clinton email controversy
“Very imp”, stated Band in his email. Abedin replied, “We all have him on our radar”.

A Clinton campaign spokesperson didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
On Tuesday evening, Trump’s campaign slammed the emails as “yet more evidence that Hillary Clinton lacks the judgment, character, stability and temperament to be within 1,000 miles of public power”.
That’s according to CNN, which provided new details on Thursday to its report on Wednesday that the DOJ had shot down an Federal Bureau of Investigation request to investigate the Clinton Foundation. The Justice Department last month declined to file charges against Clinton over her use of the private server.
In another email batch, Band asked Abedin and Mills for the State Department’s “substance person” in Lebanon to contact Gilbert Chagoury, a Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire philanthropist and a top donor for the Clinton Foundation.
The campaign suggestion that Band was operating as Bill Clinton’s aide when he wrote the emails rather than as a Clinton Foundation executive is hardly compelling, especially given that both roles place him in direct involvement with the Clinton Foundation and that the benefit recipients of Band’s work were tied into the foundation either as billionaire donor or associate traveling overseas with the foundation. Band also suggested that Abedin introduce the donor to former U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Jeffrey Feltman.
Abedin responded: “It’s jeff feltman”, referring to Jeffrey Feltman, who was the US ambassador to Lebanon at the time.
The donor mentioned in that April 2009 email was billionaire Gilbert Chagoury. Mr.
Lee then said, “I’m sorry, are you – am I not speaking English?”
“No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress”, he said in a press release.
One of Hillary Clinton’s top State Department aides participated in high-level recruiting for the Clinton Foundation while she worked for the government, according to CNN. Earlier this year the DOJ denied a request from the FBI to investigate her pay-to-play, corrupt Clinton Foundation, ‘ team Trump wrote in an email to supporters this afternoon, asking for donations.
“This is yet more evidence that Hillary Clinton lacks the judgment, character, stability and temperament to be within 1,000 miles of public power”, Stephen Miller, the NY businessman’s national policy director, said.
“Cheryl volunteered her personal time to a charitable organization, as she has to other charities”, said campaign spokesman Brian Fallon.
The Clinton camp typically dismissed this latest emails mess as “a right-wing organization” making much ado about nothing.
Trump also weighed in on the controversy in a tweet Tuesday night, asking when the media is going to start reporting on Clinton’s emails.
Her relationship with the Clintons goes back decades.
“We feel confident in our ability and our past practice of reaching out to a variety of sources and being responsive”, Trudeau said, again not coming close to answering the question.
The exchange of emails emerged this week as a result of a lawsuit over emails sent on the Clinton family’s private server.
CNN has asked the U.S. State Department if Mills had, or needed permission for the trip, or if the State Department was even aware Mills was involved with the Clinton Foundation while a top aide of Secretary Clinton.
The problem with this is that the Foundation, the personal assistants, and Clinton’s political work are incestuous.
Comey reiterated before a hearing in July that they “did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues meant to violate laws governing the handling of classified information”.
In a case where there’s a possible conflict of interest that’s not necessarily criminal, the inspector general can look into it and take an administrative remedy if necessary.

There is no doubt of the connections between Clinton Foundation staffers and State Department staffers.
