New Resident Evil 7 ‘Lantern’ Trailer Released
The game was officially announced at E3 2016 earlier this year, but at Gamescom 2016 the company has since published a new trailer, which we have to say looks pretty damn scary. This segment follows a mysterious young woman who somehow ends up in Dulvey, Louisiana where Marguerite Baker is pursuing her through a plantation house. According to Capcom, the game will introduce a new character named Marguerite Baker and another mysterious female character.

Resident Evil 7 embodies the series’ signature gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago; meanwhile, a complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to the next level.
“The classic inventory system returns but with limited space meaning players must choose what they carry with them carefully, making sure they keep in mind to pack their green herbs!”
A new trailer for the upcoming game has been released under the name “Latern”.
Capcom has confirmed that some sections of Resident Evil 7 will see you playing through the perspective of found-footage videotapes, adding more depth to the game’s setting and characters.
“No Resident Evil you’ve ever survived could prepare you for this”.
