Most recently, we reported Samsung is expected to return to using a dual-processor strategy by using its own Exynos 8890 chips and Snapdragon 820 processors, depending on and region, for both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. has reportedly already started testing the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on its network, signaling the handsets will likely go on sale soon after their official launch. There, it showed off its relatively new build and its power. The dimensions of the new A7 (2016) will be 151.5 × 73.95 × 6.95mm, and it will weigh 155g.

According to Phone Arena, this puts out a 5.5-inch display as what previous leaks tipped. The FCC certification reveals that the Galaxy A7 will have a 3,300 mAh battery.
It is expected that the Galaxy A7 reboot will get an AMOLED display with a 1080 resolution. The phablet is believed to pack in a 13 megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 5 megapixel shooter for selfies and video chat.

Samsung also confirmed the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade to Galaxy A8, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A3, Galaxy E7, Galaxy E5, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Tab S2, among many others. It will have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed. “These dimensions imply a 5.5” display again, while the thicker construction may be due to the increased battery capacity – the FCC listing pegs it at 3300 mAh, which is quite the boost from the current 2600 mAh, hinting at a possible two-day battery out of the handset. It was powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory (expandable). While the Galaxy A7 didn’t pass through the FCC yet, it has passed through China’s telecom regularity authority, also known as Tenaa, which has leaked images of the Galaxy A7.
