It has also been made fully waterproof for the first time, as is the Note 7 itself.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 was unveiled during a recent event held in New York City, and the smartphone will be put up for sale on August 19 in the United States while pre-orders have already gone live.
Inside the newest Samsung flagship smartphone we have mostly a Galaxy S7 Edge. Some unique touches differentiate the Note 7 from pretty much all other mobile devices.
Let’s start with the similarities. The former, however, has better fit and finish than any of the tech giant’s smartphones now out in the market, according to The Guardian.
If wear and tear is a concern, the Note7 comes with an IP68 dust and waterproof rating – meaning you can, theoretically, submerge your handset in up to five feet of water, for up to 30 minutes.
The two devices’ display sizes slightly differ.
The Note 7 looks taller compared to the Note 5 because it’s width is around 3mm less. Finally, this internal memo points out that the $200 taken off the price of the GS7, GS7 edge, or Note 5 will come via monthly bill credit. On the contrary, the S7 Edge has a 3,600mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery. Users also can expand storage up to 256GB through microSD card use the same slot for the SIM-card just like they had done on the Galaxy S7 edge. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB Ram.

The Note 7 RRP is $1599 or less than $59 per month interest free over 24 months on a $59.99 open plan and includes a $200 account credit. Right now, it’s not exactly clear what markets will get Samsung Cloud, as Samsung says that “service availability and scope may vary by each region and market condition”. The Mi Note 2 could be priced at 3,487 CNY ($526). Expect a discount on the Galaxy S7’s $750 starting price soon, Forbes noted.
