New Samsung tablet with S Pen support is coming, leaked manual reveals

A leaked user manual for the yet-to-be-announced tablet with the model number SM-P580/P585 has been spotted on Samsung’s Korean website, revealing that the device will get an S Pen, SlashGear reported.

Samsung has a new 10 inch tablet on the way, and all signs point to it being a lot like one that launched earlier this year… but with one major difference.

Also, Trusted Reviews claims that Samsung is definitely going all out at the annual electronics expo since it will not just launch the Galaxy Tab S3, but also the next-generation smartwatch/fitness tracker, the Gear S3.

The new tablet is likely to feature mid-range specifications which include a 1920 x 1200 inch 10.1 display, an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor as well as S Pen support.

The new tablet apparently has specs that are similar to those of the recently launched Galaxy Tab A 10.1.

Except for the S Pen, which is not present in the Galaxy Tab A 10.1, the SM-P580 tablet will feature virtually the same specifications.

If I’m reading the manual right, the new model features 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, Global Positioning System and a microSD card slot.

On the software side, the tablet will come with Android on board and Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface on top, complete with popular features such as the Samsung Notes app that goes great with the S Pen, and multi-window mode to increase productivity. But the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 without an S-Pen now sells for about $300.
