Scream-ers, with only one episode left this season, who’s your final guess for the Lakewood Killer: Branson? And they have an epic stare down. That’s some pretty responsible journalism right there, but it is also the flawless way to throw suspicion someone else’s way if you happen to be the Killer. “You look a lot like her”. He said, “I wasn’t trying to hurt Brooke”. “So is this over?” A voiceover of Sheriff Hudson was heard saying, “But we feel very confident that we have our man” and then came the scene where the killer is sneaking up behind him. Killer or not, this guy’s creepy.

Noah and Audrey begin to go through Rachel’s videos in hopes of finding some answers as to how she was connected to Branson. In relationship news, Brooke and Jake hit yet another road block when they started bickering about Branson. During their visit, Mrs. James thinks Emma is Daisy, and she reveals that Brandon had a “boy”, who visited her recently. She tells Emma, “You got him killed”. Scream continues to disseminate information about the Maggie’s and Brandon’s pasts well, but is still being fairly mum about any Kieran/Piper specifics.

She starts singing “Daisy” and brings up Brandon James’s son. She tells the girls that his son was just at her house the other day for a visit. Kevin walks in, explaining that Sheriff Hudson called his boss to alert him to Emma’s current state. Piper is asking all the right questions in her podcast.

Brooke starts to panic when she sees her webcam on her laptop turn on and off all by itself.

Unfortunately, the sheriff has tracked the phone calls and they were made far away from Mr. Branson’s house. She decides to team up with Piper in order to investigate more. He searches through some house and hears a noise. I don’t really think that Branson is a killer, but I also don’t think he should be sleeping with his underage students, so my sympathy for his arrest is lacking. It’s terrifying.

While peeping found footage on Rachel’s laptop, Noah and Audrey discovered a shot of Kieran and Nina at a bar together, which means he lied about not knowing her in the pilot. She had went back to James mother.

First she wanted to know why the police had allowed the High School Halloween dance to carry on as if nothing is happening. She says she wants to make up for last time, so they kiss and Kiernan asks her to the dance. I would insist that Maggie stay in my room with an armed officer guarding my door if it were me, but Emma seems to have less care for her personal safety.

“He’s not going to kill her through the dance scene”, Noah tells Audrey, who needs to warn Emma.

Finally, it’s time for the big dance.

And that’s why she decided to go to the dance. Audrey and Emma had another tiff about the possibility that Kieran is a killer. That’s when Kiernan shows up.

Piper encourages Emma to find the answers herself, which seems like shit advice.

Emma talks her mom into letting her meet with Branson. He refused her invitation to stop by her place but Emma isn’t too sure if she can believe him. She knows it’ll be the ideal place for the killer to strike again. Audrey says she can’t trust Kiernan, but Emma trusted Audrey when she was a suspect and they’ve all been caught on tape doing bad stuff. Instead of being anxious about Kieran in that video, Emma brushes it off. Hasn’t Emma seen the movie Scream? Not that I’m complaining, as I’m a huge fan of that film, but the similarities went just a bit beyond homage and started trickling into pastiche. He said he had gotten into fight with his dad and that he met Nina at a bar.
