New ‘Show star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Poster Exposed at D23

It’s likely that Disney and Lucasfilm are keeping their new look a mystery until the film hits theaters on December 18th, though we did get a sneak peek at Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker courtesy of a leaked photo.
From a talent and racial diversity perspective, this cast is fantastic, and I can’t wait to see what they do together.
Emojis already available were largely faces of popular characters (including several from The Force Awakens), vehicles and a handful of lightsabers. While nothing here is too revealing, aside from some new characters (Constable Zuvio) and general “army builders”, it is still really damn exciting to see them.

Despite his claims to largely be retired, legendary poster artist Drew Struzan has been lured back to work for one of the film series he’s most famous for portraying on paper: Star Wars. He wouldn’t be the first Doctor Who actor to voice a Star Wars character, as Tenth Doctor David Tennant previously played a droid named Huyang in an episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
