Just over a week now until the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the teases and teasers for the film keep coming.
A new “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” featurette entitled “Legacy” has premiered at Comic-Con Brazil. Because they’re not going to do what I want them to do. Two more films (both depicting events before A New Hope) followed: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005).
The film is directed and co-produced by J.J. Adams. Abrams have been holding off on sending some items to stores, including those tied to another female character, Maz Kanata, played by Lupita Nyong’o.
Considering that all the action in Star Wars famously takes place in a galaxy far, far away, itd be hard to pull off any blatant product placement in the movies. This three-minute Star Wars video is a review of the series. Captain Phasma, cool name.
“We did an impromptu “may the force be with you” dress-up, with some of us making costumes using old paint trays that we taped around our bodies”, he said.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Kennedy said that it’s been hard for Lucas, who was intimately involved in the first six Star Wars films, “watching this go on without his direct involvement”. And they got to do it for their job!
