His name is FN-2199, but to his friends he is known as “Nines”.

“The Force Awakens” actor admits he has had a fair share of admirers since starring as Finn in the science fiction franchise but tries to “focus on the work” rather than the celebrity status it has given him. The article goes on to say that “as detailed in Greg Rucka’s excellent book Before the Awakening, Nines trained and served on a squad with Finn (then FN-2187) in the First Order”.
Abrams’ also discusses in the podcast his concerns about accepting the Star Wars job in the first place, the influence of the Harry Potter movies on Force Awakens casting, the differences between Star Trek and Star Wars and where Abrams’ loyalties lie as a fan. According to the site, this is probably the reason for his anger at Finn, because he took their training together personally. In fact, the part with Finn’s backstory even has a drawing where “FN-2199” is an unmasked redhead in the background of a training exercise. He is the Stormtrooper seated in the background as revealed in the photo shared by Star Wars.com. It’s a Z6 baton and Nines is part of the riot control squad that utilizes this insane looking weapon.
Cool, uh? As for who provided the voice, it’s a sound editor from Skywalker Sound named David Acord, while the one who did the baton spinning inside that armor is a stunt veteran by the name of Lian Yang. The Z6 is said to be non-lethal but it can still cause serious harm to an adversary when used with brute force. They are mostly action films including “Kingsman: The Secret Service”, “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Game of Thrones”.
Given its short tenure so far, it seems certain The Force Awakens will move more than a few spots up in the inflation-adjusted list when all is said and done, all while padding its lead as the undisputed gross-dollar champion of the U.S. It’s believed he may already be dead.
