New Star Wars poster revealed on Twitter
British actor John Boyega has claimed “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” feels like “another project”.

“The Force Awakens”, directed by J.J. Abrams, opens December 17 in the United Kingdom and Australia and December 18 in the US.
Her character was unknown until recently when Abrams revealed she was the goggle-wearing alien on the film’s poster. “That’s how secretive it was”.
Disney paid .05 billion to buy the Star Wars franchise (among other properties) from Lucas in 2012.
“She’s courageous, she’s vulnerable”, Ridley said.
Adam Driver plays Kylo Ren, a character dressed similar to Darth Vader who is presumed to play the main villain, though that depends on the perspective.
“This is a project that I was incredibly lucky to be asked to be a part of, expect for maybe Harrison, when I say that this is not a job”, Abrams answers to a roomful of laughter.
Kennedy told THR that “he really liked it”.
The cast and Abrams said they wanted to preserve the element of surprise for filmgoers.
Producer Kathleen Kennedy did divulge something fans will not see.
“I’m looking forward to seeing whether or not the film will debunk the theory about Jar Jar Binks being a Sith Lord”, Montejo said. Rey hasn’t been seen with a lightsaber, only a long weapon. Her last name has not been revealed and there is some speculation about a possible link to Princess Leia, Han Solo or Skywalker. He is absent from “Force Awakens” posters and trailers, prompting theories that the character dies or joins the dark side.
“It’s just what our narrative is”, Abrams said, “so if it’s driving anyone insane, apologies”.
We can only hope that, in the future, studios respond to racial prejudice as firmly and gracefully as Boyega himself did when faced with backlash over his casting in The Force Awakens. I have even heard rumours that some people are dressing in Star Wars fancy dress for the occasion – I can’t wait, it is going to be a fantastic night.
