New Star Wars stamps a hit with fans

Now, courtesy of Star Wars 7 News and the industry leader in graphics for large & small spaces, Fathead, we have some more Hi-Res images for fans to marvel at. For example, box-purveyor Boxychan offers a “Star Wars” subscription box, but it can’t claim the contents are “official” like Funko can because the latter has a licensing agreement with “Star Wars“.

Enjoy this special first look at the cover – featuring the mysterious Kylo Ren in a painting by legendary Star Wars concept artist Doug Chiang. In addition, while other boxes might contain off-the-shelf “Star Wars” merch, Funko promises “100 percent exclusive collectibles, apparel and accessories from the “Star Wars” universe”. The boxes will be delivered on the dot every two months until the subscription gets cancelled.

“The new stamps will reflect the passion of the British public for the movies, and celebrate the major British contribution to the film series”, the Royal Mail said. There’s also an option to pay $150 for an annual membership, which includes six Smuggler’s Bounty boxes, plus an additional bonus gift after one year, IGN Entertainment reports.

A set of 18 first-class stamps will be on sale from October 20, featuring a scene or character from the first six films and three from the new release, Star Wars: the Force Awakens. Global delivery is available.
