New Star Wars trailer awakens excitement for new movie
The new “Star Wars” trailer seems to have everything – Tie Fighters, X-Wings, Han Solo, a desert planet that may be Tattooine, and even a glimpse of Darth Vader’s burnt helmet.

“The enthusiasm for this year’s most anticipated movie is out of this world”, Fandango said in its statement, “and we expect it to continue all the way to its debut on December 18”.
Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker will also return as C-3PO, Chewbacca and R2-D2 respectively.
Today the sites are up and running, but the “Star Wars” craze wiped them out the night before!
The original “3rd” Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer (otherwise known as the first full-length trailer) has already garnered many millions of views in just over a day. “The Force Awakens”, directed by J.J. Abrams, is the first of three new “Star Wars” movies being produced by Disney since it purchased the franchise from Lucasfilm in 2012 for $4.05 billion.
That role no doubt helped Boyega score the part of stormtrooper deserter Finn after auditioning for J.J. Abrams and the other Star Wars: The Force Awakens decision makers.
As Deadline reports, platforms such as Fandango, the Alamo Drafthouse, and AMC Theatres all struggled to keep up with the number of fans trying to buy tickets for the film’s December 18 opening. The Force Awakes has broken the all-time record for selling the most pre-sale cinema tickets in its first day on sale.

Demand was so overwhelming on Monday evening, when the tickets went on sale, that several online ticketing services crashed. I had to watch the trailer two times, because I had tears in my eyes. “Tickets to the earliest screenings, many of which quickly sold out, are white hot on eBay, where one seller is asking $10,000 for a pair”. This is surely going to be one for the books!
