Meanwhile, the superheroes’ chemistry onscreen has reportedly been so good that it has inspired the show’s producers to consider more crossovers.
There are plenty of photos of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen and in his full Flash attire, hanging out as both CatCo and the DEO. It returns with a new episode, titled “Manhunter”, on Monday, which will guest-star Dean Cain (Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) as Supergirl’s adoptive father Jeremiah Danvers.
Barry helps Kara battle Silver Banshee, aka Siobhan Smythe, and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.
The circumstances of how Barry gets from Central City to National City are still unclear, though with his super speed, its not as hard to cross those multiversal boundaries.
The two crimefighters also enjoy “quite an adorable banter.”
“We have this little rivalry, because he’s a superhero, too, and kind of hitting on my girl a bit”, Brooks revealed to TVLine.
“I’m excited for you guys to see the race”, Benoist told the crowd (via ComicBook.com). “It was tough to juggle people’s schedules”.
