At San Diego’s Comic-Con, Warner Bros. surprised the audience with a trailer for Justice League – and it ain’t some measly teaser either. And Gadot, who made a name for herself starring as a high-end vehicle thief in The Fast and the Furious franchise, is no slouch.

Gadot and Jenkins will be guests at a panel celebrating 75 years of DC’s iconic feminist superhero this Saturday. In Wonder Woman’s merchandise booth, a new shot of Gadot on horseback was found, along with a replica of her invisible jet. Diana decides that she must leave her lovely home, determined to help and put an end to this awful war.

Gal, who stars as Diana, warrior princess of the Amazons, revealed she took inspiration from the real-life Princess Diana, after watching a documentary on the late British royal.

“When Patty and I had our creative conversations about the character, we realized that Diana can still be a normal woman, one with very high values, but still a woman”, the actress says. Jenkins directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg, based on characters from DC Entertainment.

Justice League is scheduled for a 2017 release.

Wonder Woman is slated for release in 2017.

Joining Gadot in the global cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. Not only girls, not only boys, but men and women too, ‘ Gadot explained.
