“Our message is don’t drink and drive. You go to a bar and you’re driving more drunk and unfortunately, some people will continue to drive drunk and cause catastrophic injuries to people”.
Staying in groups and using the buddy system is always a good idea if going out. Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. Attempting to drive while intoxicated is not worth losing your life or taking the life of another.

If you’re caught drinking and driving you could face jail time, fines, loss of driver’s license, towing fees, and other DUI expenses, totaling $10,000 on average.
The enforcement effort began Friday, Dec. 18 and will end Monday, Jan. 3. If someone you know is about to drive after drinking, take their keys and help them get home safely. An increased number of troopers will hit the state’s roadways in search of anyone who appears to be impaired behind the wheel.
“We’ve got to work together to make our roads safer this December and year-round”, he said.
Under the right conditions, even one drink can impair your judgment and increase the risk of getting arrested for driving drunk-or worse, the risk of having a crash.
