New York Jets need to be taken seriously
While the Colts didn’t allow many blunders on special teams, the fact that kicker Adam Vinatieri missed yet another field goal last night, this one from 29 yards out.

New York Jets outside linebacker Quinton Coples (98) sacks Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (12) in the second half of an NFL football game in Indianapolis, Monday, September 21, 2015.
And nobody escaped the blame game.
The Colts lost to the New York Jets 20-7 on Monday. No. Do we want to have the turnovers and the penalties and the self-inflicted negatives that are going on? No.
Last night’s game against the Jets showed Andrew Luck’s struggles even more, as he ended up throwing three interceptions and losing a fumble as well.
He picked off one pass and recovered two fumbles, delivering his typical prime-time performance. His third came in the fourth quarter while trying to make something happen with a 10-point deficit.
Also, Luck’s offensive weapons are looking more like fool’s gold rather than an embarrassment of riches. New York now has 10 takeaways through two games.
“You just gotta take care of the football”.
“[We] can’t turn the damn ball over.”
Moncrief stepped up, and if Luck can get going and with a healthy Hilton, you can start to see small signs of how this offense could be explosive.
Browns coach Mike Pettine said Monday that Manziel’s first career win on Sunday over Tennessee has Cleveland’s coaching staff considering maybe keeping him as their starting quarterback even if Josh McCown returns from a concussion.
“It wasn’t a pretty win, but we’ll take it”, Jets receiver Brandon Marshall said. The Jets matched that five-turnover total, kept the Colts out of the end zone for three full quarters and never gave Luck a chance to get comfortable. “He’s got a little bit of time, so I’m hopeful, but you know out of the realm (of possibility) that he won’t play, either”.
Marshall had seven receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown, and teammate Eric Decker added eight catches for 97 yards and a score.
Fitzpatrick’s 6-yard TD pass to Decker and a 35-yard field goal from Nick Folks made it 10-0 at halftime. “It’s not trigonometry.” While singling out players isn’t always the best strategy for head coaches, it was clearly on the agenda for Pagano. The Colts’ inactives were CB Darius Butler, CB Greg Toler, ILB Nate Irving, DT T.Y. McGill, T Denzelle Good, OLB Jonathan Newsome and NT Zach Kerr.

Tight end Dwayne Allen also missed the second half with an ankle injury. They won the turnover battle for the second straight game.
