New York Jets: Three Keys To Victory Against Tennessee
Unfortunately, the Titans still have their toughest road game left, as they visit the New England Patriots (11-2) on Sunday in a game that has been dredging up painful memories of a 59-0 loss there in 2009. Offensively, the Titans had no answer for a Jets defensive line that sacked quarterback Marcus Mariota five times and hit him two other times.

The 33-year-old veteran has 3,129 yards passing, his first season over 3,000 since 2012. Fantasy Tip: Marshall has TD catches in five straight, while he and Eric Decker have 18 TD receptions – most for Jets since Keyshawn Johnson (10) and Wayne Chrebet (eight) in 1998. Only three other teams had failed to produce a three-game winning streak since 2012: the Titans, Oakland Raiders and Rex Ryan’s new team, the Buffalo Bills – who, in an amusing bit of coincidence, have the longest drought since their last three-game winning streak.
Dominating OffenseBrandon Marshall has proven to be the Jets most valuable player this season.
“I love playing for Coach Bowles”, he said.
ILL COMMUNICATION: On Marshall’s 69-yard TD that put the Jets up 27-0 before halftime, Mularkey said the Titans’ headsets went out on them, adding to the confusion.
Earlier in the week, we talked about the potential of a “trap” game.
And to deepen the pain, the Giants’ surefooted kicker Josh Brown missed a 48-yard field goal that would have tied the game in overtime.
For perspective, you only have to look back to last season’s final four games. We are continually trying to get better in all three phases.
The stoic Bowles was smiling after the game, although he did have one complaint. Fitzpatrick will throw for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns in the game and will be a major difference maker for the Jets.
In fact, the only bright spot of the afternoon came on a 41 yard Antonio Andrews touchdown pass to Marcus Mariota. The tackle saved a touchdown.
The Titans rushed the ball 13 times for a paltry 24 yards, and the pass rush that resulted from not being able to run the ball kept the rookie quarterback confused and on the run.
“It’s no different than the last couple of weeks”, Bowles said Monday. Calvin hustled and stopped a potential touchdown, which helped us out a lot.
Douglas, an eighth-year pro, and Pryor both played college ball for Louisville. The arm of Mariota is improving every week, last week he would of had a ideal game had it not have been for a big dro by his receiver that turned into an interception.
Fitzpatrick, who was supposed to be in shotgun on the play, saw Marshall was uncovered and quickly went up to center to take a snap.
Late in the third quarter of this one, the Titans and Mariota were not really in a good way, down 27-0 to the Jets.
The long-time coach in the league traded calling plays on the field for the sunny golf courses and was content with doing just that, but then Todd Bowles got the head coaching job with the New York Jets this past winter and needed an offensive coordinator, so based on the recommendation of people Bowles knew in the league, Gailey got a call to come out of retirement and run the Jets offense, which Gailey did.
Notes: Mularkey said LB Derrick Morgan likely will not play Sunday because of his injured left shoulder.
“I want to write my own piece of the psyche of a No. 1 receiver or prima donnas or what we call divas”. “Just try to take advantage of that the best I can”.

“This is what we wanted”, said Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, who returned after missing two games with a concussion.
