New York Jets will select QB Josh Rosen

I think Cleveland would make a bad mistake if they pass Rosen up at 4, especially for a quarterback like Josh Allen from Wyoming, who is one of the more raw prospect type of quarterbacks in this draft. “Your teammates want you to be you every single day so you’re that reliable rock that they can count on”, said Rosen. “Give me a player who wants to be challenged and doesn’t get overwhelmed with basic XOs”.

Rosen was the fourth quarterback picked, behind Baker Mayfield (first to Cleveland), Sam Darnold (third, Jets) and Josh Allen (Bills, 7th). I think he’d be a tremendous fit with that coaching staff, with that city. The top-ranked quarterback in the 2015 recruiting class, Rosen finished his Bruins’ career with 9,341 passing yards, 59 touchdowns and 26 picks in 30 games.

The rest, as they say, is history, which Rosen aims to make again once he knows where he’s headed Thursday night.

As for some of the incidents Rosen had in college, Mora said they have been overblown, like when Rosen had a hot tub in his dorm room as a freshman.

Rosen’s body manipulation allows for the tight end to get an easy step on his man, after which Rosen lofts a flawless ball over the spying middle linebacker for an easy first down.

The team went 8-8 last season despite mediocre play at quarterback between Carson Palmer and Blaine Gabbert, and Rosen could represent a major upgrade at the position. ESPN analyst Louis Riddick said, “from a prototypical, pro-style quarterback, (Rosen) is the best one by far”.

“He’s more of a pure pocket passer”.

Rosen initially was injured in UCLA’s game against Washington Oct. 28 when Vita Vea – yeah, this guy – sacked the quarterback. “I like silencing crowds; that’s a big thing”, Rosen said. Whether it was the concussions or his scary shoulder injury in 2016, all point to a legitimate concern for Rosen’s ability to stay on the field in the National Football League.

While Rosen might not have been too happy, the Cardinals were ecstatic. But his personality hasn’t made as many headlines as Rosen’s leading up to the draft.

“So, if you can have a great draft it really does change the fortunes of your team”. And while Josh Rosen expects to go high, he doesn’t much care for where he lands. UCLA’s Rosen is expected to be among the top five picks, if not the first overall pick. I was really, really angry.
