“Now, obviously, teams are scouting us more and not letting us do the things we did in the beginning but we’ve got to adjust and seeing how we scored and watching film and trying to find ways how to get better offensively and then defensively”.
The reality of the situation is that even if the Knicks were open to trading Melo a trade was never likely to happen as it would have been very complicated. It was a sloppy game overall, having a preseason feel for some of it as the 76ers play a ton of youngsters and the Knicks are still trying to figure things out with their rotation.

Porzingis was able to stretch his game to the perimeter, hitting both of his three-point attempts. There will be days when you don’t make shots, but just bringing the same energy, bringing the same mentality to the floor, every time.

So Porzingis is a rock star back home. But to see him ignite a fire in a fanbase so hungry for players to love was an unbelievable sight to behold. At the start of the season, many believed Grant should have been the starting point guard with Jose Calderon disappointing since his arrival in NY.
