While dogs may have a bit of a reputation for causing problems for mail carriers, Collins said his mailman doesn’t seem intimidated.
A postman has formed a special bond with a dog that gets overlooked in public as “dangerous or unapproachable”. He doesn’t bark at them or growl.
World Health Organization said a dog wasn’t a postman’s best friend?
Michael Collins posted this video on Facebook, describing the sweet moment his pup and mailman shared, an exchange that’s turned into tradition for the pair.
I can barely tolerate my mailman delivering me nothing but junk mail, if he came to my house wearing a bicycle helmet, my dog and I would go postal on him. That’s when the mailman gives the dog a nice belly-rub, along with a few tender pats. ( Maybe the odd couple times he barks at people, but which dog doesn’t.) But this guy here always makes an effort to get off his bike to give him a hug and a pat!

In return Kyza licks his face, tail wagging, before the postie returns to his run. Awesome to see this, ‘ Michelle said. If there’s one thing we can learn from this kind mailman, it’s that every dog, big or small, deserves a warm hello.
