Officers finally caught Bankston on Thursday morning (18Aug16) in Oakland, California, arresting her on 15 counts of hacking and cyberstalking, including harassing Kris, two assistants and several of her relatives from March to September of 2014. She was indicted by a grand jury in Los Angeles.
Bankston terrorised Jenner and her family in 2014.
A woman who sent Kris Jenner hundreds of disturbing text messages and emails has been slapped with a 15-count indictment by prosecutors.
According to the federal indictment, Bankston asked to meet Jenner in person because she claimed to have had a sex tape of her, which she had sent to a news website.
He shouted: “Can I talk to you?” The indictment also charges four counts of computer hacking, one count of extortion by threat targeting one of Kris Jenner’s assistants and four counts of aggravated identity theft related to the computer hacking offenses.
One reportedly said: “Oh you can’t block me forever love”, and another referred to a sexual act and added: “you are mine and u am in love”.
Each of the cyberstalking and computer hacking offenses carries a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.
She is due for her first court appearance on Friday. Her damaging behavior also saw her pretend to be the mom-of-six to get a friend to respond to a false emergency at her home.
The aggravated identity theft charge carries a mandatory sentence of two years behind bars.
