Newborn killed after being thrown from 7th-story window in NYC

Ms. Berry worked as a child protective specialist and spent the first three months in training that took place in a classroom setting, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The building superintendent’s wife found the baby unresponsive and unconscious in an alleyway outside the Bronx area residence.

Berry’s attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.

Berry’s case has been adjourned until October 5 while she remains in jail.
