Next for Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles: Role-modeling and cliff-jumping
The video was taken at the medal ceremony of the 2014 World Championships in China. She also went into the event seeking silver, not gold.

Simone holds the distinction of winning every U.S. championship in the last three years that she has taken part in; plus four gold and one bronze medal in Rio Olympics 2016. Finally, she ditches the flowers and picks them back up when the coast is clear. Some of the highlights included Raisman’s vault during team finals, which was a whopping 15.833.
But the fun’s not over for the Final Five quite yet.
During the individual all-around event, both Raisman and fellow United States teammate Simone Biles proved to be tough competition by remaining ahead consistently.
Raisman’s got the gold from team and silvers in all-around individual and the floor exercise.
Martha Karolyi, legendary Romanian Olympic coach, can be credited with the success of the Women’s US Gymnastics team.
The athletes on the USA women’s team dubbed themselves the “Final Five” after winning gold in the team all-around, a reference to the last squad to be guided by the legendary, and now retired, Marta Karolyi.
Raisman’s life has revolved around gymnastics since she started tumbling at age 2.
“I said I get better with age, so maybe I will”, Raisman said.
