Next year’s iPhone won’t even have a home button

T-Mobile’s preorders from September 9 through September 12 were almost four times the level of the next most popular iPhone, and are continuing to be strong, the statement said.

T-Mobile Chief Executive John Legere declared demand for the iPhone 7, stating that the pre-orders of the smartphone are four times that of the iPhone 6.

Pre-sales, which began Friday, were the biggest in T-Mobile’s history, breaking records for both single-day orders and pre-sales placed in the first four days.

Two major American wireless carriers, Sprint and T-Mobile, announced on Tuesday that iPhone 7 presales were exceeding expectations. Under the iPhone Upgrade Program, if they get the iPhone 7 late this year, they would have to wait longer next year for the iPhone 8 too, unless they want to pay extra.

The new iPhone 7 and larger iPhone 7 Plus were unveiled last week, alongside a new waterproof Apple Watch, at a press event in San Francisco.

Now, in The New York Times’ iPhone 7 review, the publication wrote that next year’s iPhone will “have a full-screen face with the virtual button built directly into the screen”, citing two internal Apple sources. Instead, customers will be advised to order their iPhone 7 online. Instead, customers will be mostly limited to stock of iPhone 7 available to order online.

Only the 32GB version of the iPhone 7 is going to be given to you free of charge. The technology relies on Cupertino’s W1 chip, which is also featured in Beats headphones like the Solo 3 Wireless, PowerBeats 3 Wireless, and new Beats X. Though the company has not attempted a design change, the new models have no headphone jack. Note that when Apple launched the iPhone 6, it did release first-weekend sales results. Because Apple’s iPhone is turning 10.
