Nexus 5 2015 news: Specs of two variants leaked

But some have claimed that the two Nexus devices will be built each by LG and by Huawei. But today, the specs of both devices have been leaked and crawling everywhere online.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOGL) will surprise us this year, as it plans to introduce two new Nexus smartphones.

Samsung, Google, and LG will first push out their new security updates to address the Stagefright vulnerability. (NASDAQ:QCOM) Snapdragon 620 processor, 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, 64GM eMMC 5.1 storage, and a 3180 mAh battery. The 13-megapixel rear camera must not also be overlooked as it features an IMX278 RGBW sensor, 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens, OIS, laser autofocus and dual-tone LED flash.

The unit is reported to have a MediaTek T3188 wireless charging receiver and Marvell Avastar 88W8897 connectivity chipset (802.11ac Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2).

Close on the heels of Samsung and Google, South Korea’s second largest handset manufacturer, LG, has also promised to release monthly security updates for all its devices.

For sharp selfies, LG Nexus 5 allegedly comes with a 4-megapixel front camera with an OV4682 RGB-IR sensor and Iris Detection. The device will also have a fingerprint sensor-integrated rear button, and will pack front-facing stereo speakers. Pricing, fortunately, may be somewhere between $300 and $400, a relief to anyone who felt the Motorola-made Nexus 6 was way too expensive. @evleaks tweeted about Huawei Nexus 2015 to be in 5.7 inch QHD display.

The latest rumors say that Google has decided to bring the next Nexus device in October, and the model will be created by LG, the company that was responsible for creating the Nexus 4 and 5 smartphones.

Some of the specs of the Huawei Nexus have also been revealed. The report claims that the Huawei Nexus phablet will have a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display, metal unibody design, 21MP rear camera with IMX230 sensor and Rezence/WiPower wireless charging. Even though Google didn’t provide a date for the Android 5.2 M public release, we believe we can make some estimations based on the company’s previous launches.
